This wiring harness is made in the USA from the same grade of wiring as Chrysler, Ford, and GM.

Important: Yerf Dog was one of the only manufacturers who hardwired their solenoid. Make things easy on yourself and at the same time. New solenoids come with the correct new connector like almost all other models.

The extra yellow and black wires with bullet connectors are for tail lights.
 

SOLENOID CONNECTION

The original harness hardwired the solenoid to the harness. Hardwiring was good for suppliers, bad for you. Forcing you to buy a whole harness any time you need to replace the solenoid. Our harness has the standard solenoid connector. If you don't already have a replacement solenoid, get one here.

ATTENTION NON-YERF DOG OWNERS

The harness itself will not directly fit if you don't have a Yerf Dog GX150. But, it can be used as the core for your own re-wiring job. It is very important that you read this article:

This harness handles the main GY6 engine functions: Ignition, Charging, Autochoke, etc. We can provide a wiring diagram. Any wiring advice must be asked on our Tech Advice Forum, but that is not a guarantee that we will be able to help beyond providing the basic diagram. We won't step you through re-wiring via phone or email.

You will also need The chassis harness. If you want to use your original chassis harness, you may need a 9-to-6 adapter, or a 6-to-4 adapter.
